Minister for Justice – fit for office?

In the context of the Willie O’Dea affidavit affair, the Minister for Justice said “I have full confidence in Willie O’Dea and I think it’s pretty despicable of the opposition to be using things like this. They should be attacking the Government on policies, not on personalities. But unfortunately, I suppose Fine Gael are returning to type. They’ve always tried to get the dirt on people and I think it’s despicable to be honest.”

Bill’s comment – And this Minister Dermot Ahern is responsible for Justice and Law Reform and is also a trained solicitor who can read the chronology in the O’Dea affair the same as me. Amazing or disgraceful or disingenuous!

Take your pick.
