30 kpm crawl in city centre

I have asked Dublin City Manager John Tierney the following question for the 1st March meeting:-

Question. Could the manager provide the council with the coroners verdicts and the police records of the fatal accident victims within the boundaries of the recently extended 30 kph zone in the five years to the end of 2007 and more recently if available?

To deal with the issue of accidents in Dublin City Centre, facts are important. The details required above may contribute in a small way to
enlighten the discussions on the crawl in central Dublin.

I can assure those concerned citizens that I will continue to oppose the passage of unreasonable bye-laws that fly in the face of common sense. I have been informed that 4% of commuter traffic in the city centre are cyclists.
