Mr Patrick McDonagh who was our English and Music Teacher at Marian College Ballsbridge in my years there 1958-1968 exposed us to gregorian chant and the mystique of European religious music. The beauty of this music is eternal and does not require belief in the rest of the menu. I salute the work of this man.
