Gurgiev on Newstalk

On Coleman at Large this week, Constantin Gurgiev outlined the
necessity for debt forgiveness to save the euro. Internally, we agreed
that debt forgiveness and regulation of bank lending in the way
forward. I no longer believe that the euro will be saved because debt
– public and private is too big at the PIIGS. It is worth listening to
Gurviev on the webcast which you can find at Newstalk’s website. Pere
Bacon, the economist was also on the phone about NAMA and property and
Paddy Woodward about Spain.
