Liberty Hall

I consider the current Liberty Hall an ugly anachronism that is too
small and too low for its position in Dublin. I disagree strongly with
those trying to retain the current building. Their cases are laid out
by Frank McDonald in the Irish Times on Thursday the 19th July under
the heading “Decision on Liberty Hall demolition will shape city
skyline”.

Just because the current building won an award from the
Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland does not mean that it should
not be replaced. Dublin is not a concrete and glass mausoleum and
LIBERTY HALL should be replaced.
