Central Placement Service is relocating to Parkgate Hall,
6-9 Conygham Road, Dublin 8
From Monday 29th July 2013, the Central Placement Service (CPS) currently located at 160 Capel Street, Dublin 1 will move to Parkgate Hall, 6-9 Conygham Road, Dublin 8. This service is for persons from the Dublin City Council Area. Clients who are from Fingal County Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council or South Dublin County Council should be directed to the relevant office.

New Presentations:

For individuals/families that have never stayed in homeless accommodation before, they should present to Parkgate Hall where they will meet with a staff member who will help them to assess their accommodation options.

This office is open Monday to Friday 10am – 12 noon / 2pm – 4pm.

Repeat presentations:

a) For individuals/families who have previously stayed in homeless accommodation and have presented to CPS and completed their housing and support needs assessment they should call the HOMELESS HELPLINE 1800 707 707 between 2pm – 4pm / 4.30 pm – 1am.The HELPLINE will assess their options and possible need for temporary accommodation.

b) For individuals/families who have not completed a housing and support needs assessment and have previously stayed/are currently in temporary accommodation, they should call the HOMELESS HELPLINE 1800 707 707 between 2pm – 4pm or ask their key worker to arrange an appointment for them.

This office is open Monday to Friday 10am – 12 noon / 2pm – 4pm.

What you need to do as a key worker/ service provider

In order to ensure that all persons understand that the service has now moved location, we would ask that you communicate this with persons who are accessing your service.

Homeless Allocations

The Homeless Allocation Section of Dublin City Council will also be relocating to Parkgate Hall. For individuals/families that have a query regarding their homeless allocation with Dublin City Council, we would advise all key workers to send the query on behalf of your client to homelesslist@dublincity.ie

If a client needs to bring documentation to the homeless allocation section, they should now call into Parkgate Hall, 6-9 Conyngham Road, Dublin 8
