Eamonn Dunphy and Ursula Halligan on TV3
This is an excellent interview. Dunphy describes his detachment as a journalist and his mid life crisis of partying, alcohol, cannabis and cocaine. He freely acknowledges his imperfections and is asked about his writings about Dick Spring, Mary Harney, Charlie McCreevey and Roy Keane.

Jeff Randal on Tony Blair’s book
This Daily Telegraph review of Blair’s book by a Tory enemy does not hold back.
“Travelling with Mr Blair on this journey is like a trip round his monolithic ego with a sycophantic tour guide blethering on a megaphone. When it comes to sins, he appears to have confused venality with veniality. It’s a textbook study in how to concede a few inches while grabbing many yards.
The book’s most striking achievement, one I never thought possible, is that it began to make me feel sorry for Mr Brown, who is denounced as having neither “political feelings” nor “emotional intelligence”. Poor old Gordon.”

My brother Peter, (Lt Col retired) ordered me to Smyths in Malahide so I always do what I am told! He works in Air Traffic Control for the Civil Aviation Authority at Gatwick area in England. He supports Sale Sharks in the Premiership. I have a soft spot for Leeds because of my time at Headingley. But Bill is an Ireland man followed by Lansdowne. Leinster, Shamrock Rovers come next and I admire State Toulousain. He has never looked at this website. Never voted for the country wreeckers in his life! Labour/FG
