Lansdowne win Div 2 AIB League at RDS v Highfield

Amazing who you find at the RDS when Lansdowne get out of the burning fires of hell in Div 2.  Joe Moran, Eleanor Connolly, Joe Leddin, the Quinn family and the whole Lansdowne team who turned up on the day!  Willie Clancy as the Martin Johnson of Lansdowne and Highfield who were nearly spoil sports.

They only let us have 3 points and refused to score themselves.  Just as well – no point in spoiling our day.  Even Mick Dawson turned up to make sure the pitch was preserved for Leinster!  Thanks to the Team, Mickey Quinn, Willie Clancy, Stephen Rooney et al.  Back to Lansdowne Road for next season.
